Guess what?????

Looked outside today and I think spring has finally arrived. The tulips were in bloom, the daffodils looked beautiful and the apple blossoms were just coming out!!
Aren't they beautiful!! And no snow.
April Fool!!!!!!
We will be shoveling our 8" of snow.

Dog Angels

It may be officially spring, but here in Canadia, it's really still winter. The temperatures have been milder, and yesterday was a warm-er sunny day.

It was Ginger's cue to make some Doggie Angels in the snow:

And here we have the result:
A lovely Doggie Snow Angel.

Guess spring is officially here!!!

Today while I was working at the Food Pantry I looked out the window and here was a flock of robins in a flowering crab tree---of course, the tree was not flowering now. Here is what they looked like. Now I didn't take these pictures but what I saw was just like this. MOM/AJ

Good Friday/Happy Easter

So I had a half day on Friday. It was possibly the worst ride home, this year. I saw about 15-20 cars in the ditch -most of them with people still in them! I got home safe and had to fire up my - not-so-little friend. . . .
I need some creative submissions to give him a name. I took him in as a foster-thrower from a former co-worker who got divorced and needed to store it. That was five years ago. We've had a great run this winter and he never fails me. Even with a flat tire and only one gear. It still keeps going. These pictures were taken Sat. am after my Second snowblow. Just think, Thursday there was no snow on the ground. I Love Wisconsin!
I'll be taping, painting, cleaning brushes, spraying paint, sanding, cleaning spray gun for my Easter. I hope everyone has a great Easter. Last year was such a highlight. I'll try to color an egg or two. Love - Steve

Happy Easter, Everyone!!!

I hope everyone is going to have a Happy Easter. Ours will be quiet. We'll take Jim's sister out for dinner after church. I will have happy memories of last year's celebration in Washburn. May even drag out the pictures. Is everyone going to color eggs? I have the color now to shop for the eggs. I will do something to keep with tradition. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your Easter next week. So charge up those cameras. MOM/Aunt Janis

The Stalker Takes a Break

I think that Sasha can tell the Alyssa is coming home for break. She is in constant Stalker Mode; that is, following me around everywhere. She sleeps with me. She sits on my lap at the computer and/or on the couch. She sits next to me when I NordicTrak.

But this photo is deceiving. Sitting quietly in the sun. Bah!!! She's just got her eyes closed because she's thinking about what to do to me next......

Tiger doesn't do much, except . . .

He's got it pretty good. A lot of sleeping and enough eating to keep him happy . . .

He's got a view like this all day . . .

But when it's "clean sheets night" he comes alive . . .

SCC Backstage Pass & More

Not that anybody will know this . . . Last night I went to a Steven Curtis Chapman concert in Milwaukee. I have a friend who lives in Nashville and works for their management company. She got me free tickets and a backstage pass. He's been pretty huge in the Christian music scene for about 20 years. (Jolee, you may have seen him at Sonlight festivals if you went) He's about Cathy's age and is on tour right now. His two sons (17 & 20?yrs)are on tour with him. He sang for about 2.5 hours and it was great. We laughed, we cried . . . It was really wonderful meeting him. He has 3 natural children and has 3 Chinese girls that they have adopted. He's definitely got me beat on the cool factor. . .

This is not a recent picture, but an accurate one of the snow we've had. In fact, I had to snowblow again yesterday. I got about another 4 inches. Tiger just sits and takes it all in . . .
