SCC Backstage Pass & More

Not that anybody will know this . . . Last night I went to a Steven Curtis Chapman concert in Milwaukee. I have a friend who lives in Nashville and works for their management company. She got me free tickets and a backstage pass. He's been pretty huge in the Christian music scene for about 20 years. (Jolee, you may have seen him at Sonlight festivals if you went) He's about Cathy's age and is on tour right now. His two sons (17 & 20?yrs)are on tour with him. He sang for about 2.5 hours and it was great. We laughed, we cried . . . It was really wonderful meeting him. He has 3 natural children and has 3 Chinese girls that they have adopted. He's definitely got me beat on the cool factor. . .

This is not a recent picture, but an accurate one of the snow we've had. In fact, I had to snowblow again yesterday. I got about another 4 inches. Tiger just sits and takes it all in . . .

Wow. You ALL have me beat in the Cool Department! I even know who Steven Curtis Chapman is......maybe using your middle name is a way to start being cool? Ummmm. No.

Sounds like you had a great time!! What a good way to briefly escape the snowy weather.

It's good to see someone is doing something fun. All we seem to do is watch the snow fall and snowblow. Way to go!!! Who are you going to see next?????

Sounds like a good time! I did homework all weekend. Jolee called and I got a little break playing with Mason, but other than that it's been work all weekend.

Whoever can finish my psych essay wins the cool factor. (At this rate, I'm a little bit ahead of everyone. But I really wouldn't mind if someone beat me out on this one.)
