Here are my peonies in full bloom. At one time they were all pink so all you gardeners out there-- how did this happen??? The deer are having a fun time with the flowers by my rock. I've planted flowers twice and the deer have nipped off the flowers. The don't bother the roses. I wonder why????
As for the chipmunks, we have trapped 7 and there is another that I have to get. I hear the neighbors shooting so guess they have another solution to the problem.

The color change could have something to do with the acidity of the soil. I know that that is the case with hydraengas (i think i butchered the spelling). Sometimes water conditions affect the colors, as well. Garden Web dot com might have some answers.
