Randy measured the snow with his Green Bay Packer measuring tape and the help of his lovely assistant (not me). It doesn't get anymore official than that. At 9:51 a.m. EST, we have 12" of snow. Officially.
The birds are going to have a hard time today.

You certainly did get a fair amout of snow. We got about half that amount. Some good neighbor plowed us out as dad can't do that for 48 hours after cath... It is very pretty but.... too much, too soon.

WOW. The snow is pretty, but I am sure not fun to live in it...especially this soon in the year!! Crazy!!
We only got about 4 inches of the very wet/heavy stuff. I was out trying to get the final rake of leaves done as the snow was falling. Looked funny. All I have to say for you Canadians- one word. Garage.
